The process

What to expect from start to finish.

Let's make sure
this is right

Before we book anything, we have a quick conversation. No obligation. Just a chance for me to understand what you're dealing with and for you to know what you're getting into.

This isn't therapy intake. It's just real talk. You tell me what's going on. I tell you whether I think the Resilience Package is the right fit. If it is, we move forward. If it's not, I'll point you toward something that might work better.

Book a Consultation Call
"Before your first session, we'll spend 20–30 minutes talking. No pressure. No pitch. Just two people figuring out if this makes sense."

Here's what happens

Six sessions. Each one builds on the last. You're working through a workbook throughout that ties it all together, something you can reference anytime you need it.

Phase 1
Understand
Sessions 1–2

We dig into what's actually happening in your nervous system. Polyvagal theory, how trauma affects the brain-body connection, why you react the way you do. Real science, no fluff. You'll finally understand why your body does what it does.

Phase 2
Build
Sessions 3–4

Now we train. Regulation drills. Grounding techniques. Skills you can practice on shift, in your car, at home. Think of it like conditioning. You're building the response before you need it.

Phase 3
Integrate
Sessions 5–6

We put it all together. You're practicing what you've learned. We're troubleshooting what works and what doesn't for you specifically. By the end, you've got a system that's actually yours.

You decide
what's next

After six sessions, you have options. There's no pressure to keep going and no expectation that you need more.

Option 1
You're Good

You've got your toolkit. You feel different. You want to run with it on your own. That's totally valid. You can always reach out for a check-in session later if you need it.

Option 2
You Want More Support

If you want to go deeper or work with a therapist on some stuff, I can connect you with trauma-informed therapists who understand the first responder world. You'll go in with a clearer sense of what you need and why.

Option 3
Ongoing Coaching

Some people want to keep working together. We can figure out what that looks like based on where you're at after the six sessions.

Your privacy is
non-negotiable

Everything you share is completely confidential. Sessions are between you and me. There's no report to your department, your employer, or anyone else.

The only time confidentiality gets broken is if you tell me you're planning to hurt yourself or someone else. Otherwise, what you say here stays here.

You can do sessions in-person or online. Either way, it's private.

No reporting to your department
No paperwork to your employer
No risk to your career
In-person or online sessions
Your station doesn't need to know

Common questions

Is this therapy?
No. I'm not a licensed therapist, and this isn't therapy. It's coaching focused on nervous system management and building resilience. If you decide you want actual therapy after our sessions, I can refer you to qualified therapists.
Will my department find out?
No. Sessions are completely confidential. There's no paperwork going to your employer, your union, or anyone else. Only you know you're doing this.
Can I use my benefits plan?
Not yet. Because I'm not a licensed therapist, most benefits plans don't cover coaching. However, if you decide to work with a therapist after our sessions, that's likely covered. I can talk you through your options.
What if I can't afford six sessions upfront?
We can work out a payment plan. Cost shouldn't be the barrier. Let's talk about what works for you.
What if I'm already seeing a therapist?
That's fine. Coaching and therapy can work together. Just let me know so we can make sure we're not duplicating effort.
How long is each session?
Typically 60 minutes. We can adjust based on what works for you.
Can I do sessions online?
Yes. Sessions can be in-person or online, whatever works best for you.
What if I need emergency support?
If you're in crisis, this isn't the right place. Please reach out to a crisis line, your local emergency services, or a mental health professional immediately.
